Visiting Liverpool? Welcome! We can't wait for you to join us. Whether you're in town for one of Mersey Swing's events or something else, we hope you find this guide helpful. There's details of venues we regularly dance at, and bands we dance to. We'll also include some of our favourite parts of Liverpool, so check back!

Please note- whilst we hope to keep this page up to date, we're not responsible for these recommendations, so please check the websites/social media of something you're interested in and confirm the details with them.

With Love from Me to You!

Getting here

Liverpool Lime Street is the main station for trains coming in from around the UK. There is also a local train service, Mersey Rail, Liverpool Central and Moorfields which may be useful if you're staying outside the city centre.

By Train

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is the closest to the city centre and flies in and out of many European cities. From there, it's a short bus ride to the city center. Manchester Airport is about an hour away by car or train and operates destinations worldwide.

By Plane

Coming by car? Liverpool is at the end of the M56, or the A580 (as well as a bunch of local roads!). On-street parking is free after 6 pm, and there are plenty of off-street parking options. The most expensive places to park are the Q-Parks in Liverpool One and the Albert Dock.
