About The Event
We could not agree more with Voltaire and as part of Heritage Open Days, England's largest and free to attend festival of history and culture, we would like to invite you to take part in a celebration of our local heritage with a day of live music, demonstrations and free taster swing dancing taster sessions from Mersey Swing.
Bearcat Gumbo and The Savoy Jazzmen will be providing live music throughout the day!
There will also be the opportunity to pull up a chair (or picnic blanket!) to read and share in some of the poetry and stories that inspire The Reader on our mission to bring about a Reading Revolution so that everyone can experience and enjoy great literature.
Storybarn sessions from 10am, music and dancing from 1pm.
